Mulched definition

Mulched means greenwaste shredded by a mechanical process into small pieces no larger than 15 x 15 x 100 millimetres;

  • Mulched beds on slopes adjacent to turf shall also be trenched to a depth of 3" & beveled to reduce mulch washout.

  • Mulched or decomposed granite areas will be inspected weekly and man-made debris removed.

  • Mulched areas shall remain weed free and shall be cleaned and replaced on a regular basis to maintain minimum of 3- inch depth throughout.

  • Mulched areas shall be checked periodically and immediately after severe storms for damage, until the mulching is no longer necessary for protection against erosion.
