MSZ means the Main Shear Zone;

MSZ means 'more sensitive zone'. This includes any land use zones in the district plan which provide for land uses generally considered more sensitive than the one the p roposed hazardous facility is located in . It does not include a land use that may be more sensitive than the land uses generally provided for in the zone that activity is located in, for example a cafe/takeaway bar in an industrial zone.
