MSATS definition

MSATS means the market administration system as used by the electricity market for site registrations. Powermetric means Powermetric Metering Pty Ltd ABN 89 131 072 707. Powermetric’s Energy Profiler (PEP) means a web- based information portal hosted by Powermetric that provides eligible customers with access to their electricity consumption details generally on a day after basis. Powermetric Metering Equipment means any Metering Equipment that is owned by Powermetric and may be identified with the Powermetric logo. Rules means the National Electricity Rules under the National Electricity Law.
MSATS means the Market Settlement and Transfer Solution, a system operated by NEMMCO;
MSATS means the Market Settlements and Transfer Solution system operated by ‘NEM Representative’ means a related body corporate of the Retailer which is registered as a market customer with AEMO and which, directly or indirectly, on-sells electricity to the Retailer for sale to customers, as notified by the Retailer to the Distributor from time to time under clause 5.5.

  • However, a Retailer will not be liable to reimburse the Distributor for a wrongful disconnection GSL where the Distributor’s actions or omissions caused the Retailer to request the disconnection of the wrong premises (for example, where the Retailer has relied on MSATS data in establishing the NMI which is used in the request for disconnection).

  • Where appointed as Metering Coordinator in MSATS in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, Vector must perform all the functions of the Metering Coordinator (MC) as defined in the National Electricity Rules.

  • You may remove or continue to use current transformers that belong to us after we cease to be recorded as the metering coordinator in MSATS in relation to the metering installation.

  • Replacing us as the metering coordinator in MSATS does not mean that you or your appointed metering coordinator or metering provider take ownership of the Metering Assets.
