Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation (MPIC) provides wage loss replacement benefits resulting from motor vehicle accidents regardless of the existence of sick leave benefits provided by employers.
The employee shall be entitled to receive full income protection benefits for any period of time deemed to be a “waiting period” by M.P.I.C.
Employees should not receive combined University sick leave benefits and MPIC wage loss benefits in excess of one hundred percent (100%) of their normal salary from the two (2) sources for the same absence from work.
If determined by the Medical Person in Charge (MPIC) that the employee has a serious illness and the employee cannot be returned to their change port by an AMHS vessel within twenty-four (24) hours the Employer will provide commercial transportation.

MPIC will provide MP Securities with all expense allocation methodologies used in allocation support staff salaries, misc.
MPIC shall itemize its costs incurred on MP Securities’ behalf and submit reasonable documentation for any expenditures made.
MPIC reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time if full payment is not made when due.
MPIC will provide administrative services as listed on the attached Exhibit “A”, as may be supplemented from time to time by MPIC or at the request of MP Securities.
