Moisture Sensing Device definition
Moisture Sensing Device means a device to estimate or measure soil moisture in the root zone for the purpose of controlling an irrigation system based on the actual needs of the plant. By law (373.62, F.S.) any person who purchases and installs an automatic landscape irrigation system must properly install, maintain, and operate technology that inhibits or interrupts operation of the system during periods of sufficient moisture.
Moisture Sensing Device means a sensor that automatically shuts off irrigation system controllers in response to rainfall.
