Modest Gift definition

Modest Gift means a Gift that has a current market value of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or less;
Modest Gift means a gift, present, honorarium or similar asset offered without compensation that has a current market value of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or less, and "Gift" has a corresponding meaning but without a value attribution;
Modest Gift means a Gift that has a current market value of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) or less;

  • When Directors, Officers and Managers are invited to address or otherwise contribute to an external organization in a seminar, symposium or lecture forum, solely as a result of their position with the Corporation, fees or honoraria (if in excess of an amount equal to the value of a Modest Gift or such higher amount as the Board may stipulate) shall be turned over to the Corporation.

  • If a gift valued at more than a Modest Gift is received by the Chair of the Board, the Vice Chair or the Past Chair of the Board will determine whether it should be retained, returned or donated to charity, having regard to the principles set out in this Code of Conduct.

  • Principle 3: Modest Gift Giving and Receiving Petrofac recognises the giving and receiving of gifts as part of normal business relations provided these are not intended to unfairly influence or could be perceived as unfairly influencing business decisions or transactions, such as, but not limited to, the award of contracts to or by Petrofac.

  • Host At Destination means the person with whom the Insured is sharing prearranged overnight accommodations in the host's home.

  • Destination means any place where the Insured expects to travel to on his/her Trip other than Return Destination as shown on the travel documents.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • Transient lodging means a room or a suite of rooms.

  • Moderator means, in connection with this DPA, a verified adult affiliated with and authorized by the Educational Institution to moderate a Student Account or a Classroom, as permitted by the Service.

  • Tourism destination project means a qualified non-gaming

  • Transient guest means a natural person staying less than 30 consecutive days.

  • Slug loading means any pollutant, including oxygen demanding pollutants, released in a discharge at a flow rate and/or pollutant concentration as to cause interference in the POTW.

  • Firefighter means any regular, paid or volunteer, member of a lawfully constituted fire department of a municipal corporation, township, fire district, or village.

  • Busy Line Verification (BLV) means a service whereby an End User requests an operator to confirm the busy status of a line.

  • Energy storage system means a system which stores energy and releases it in the same form as was input.

  • Routine use means the disclosure of a record without the consent of the subject or subjects, for a purpose which is compatible with the purpose for which the record was collected. It includes disclosures required to be made by statute other than the public records law, Iowa Code chapter 22.

  • Guest Rooms means each rentable unit in the Hotel generally used for overnight guest accommodations, the entrance to which is controlled by the same key, provided that adjacent rooms with connecting doors that can be locked and rented as separate units are considered separate Guest Rooms. The initial number of approved Guest Rooms is set forth in the Addendum.

  • Delivery Site means 250 West 70th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., V5X 2X1, unless otherwise stated in this ITT;
