Moderate Proficiency definition
Moderate Proficiency means the Applicant attaining an average benchmark score in English or French of Level 5 as established by the CLB; or an average “Overall Band Score” of 3.5 on the IELTS test (all average scores are based on English or French testing in the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing);
Examples of Moderate Proficiency in a sentence
Prior to Landing, the Applicant has been unable to demonstrate a Moderate Proficiency in either English or French; and IV.
Immigration Services requires that the Applicant either have, or attain within one year of Landing, a level of Moderate Proficiency in either English or French speaking, reading, writing and listening.
The Deposit is fully refundable less the deductions outlined in paragraph 4, without interest, provided that within one (1) year of Landing (the “Term”), the Applicant provides evidence satisfactory to Immigration Services that the Applicant has attained Moderate Proficiency.
