Mobility area definition

Mobility area means a specific seamless part of territory, where a situation of self- containment of the mobility flows is determined, based on analyses of the «potential demand» of the population concerned. The territorial perimeter of the Mobility area is therefore defined by the competent authority on the basis of a specific "demand" for mobility, which in particular cases may be characterized by a significant expansion and/or reduction, thus allowing to identify "weak demand" (areas);
