Mobile Switching Centers definition

Mobile Switching Centers. (“MSCs”) are an essential element of the CMRS network which perform the switching for the routing of calls among its mobile subscribers and subscribers in other mobile or landline networks. The MSC also coordinates intercell and intersystem call hand-offs and records all system traffic for analysis and billing.
