Mobile Data Computer (MDC) definition

Mobile Data Computer (MDC) means commercial grade mobile computers operating in a law enforcement vehicle or otherwise not connected via a local or wide area network that are capable of Accessing System servers via a network connection that is compliant with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) security policies.
