Mobile Call definition

Mobile Call. A call to the customer of a third party provider in the Republic of Ireland which offers services to customers using electronic communications equipment designed to be used while in motion.
Mobile Call a Call to an Operator Customer using a mobile handset if the Operator Customer using mobile terminal apparatus would receive that Call by means of wireless telegraphy if the handset was switched on and within range of a base transceiver station forming part of the Operator System unless:
Mobile Call means a Call, other than a Call prefaced by a Toll-Free Number, for which a Mobile Number in a carrier’s (the first carrier’s) mobile Network is provided as the called party number. For the avoidance of doubt, where the end-to-end call is prefixed by a Toll Access Code or where 02 Non-Code Access has been applied, the terminating end of this end-to-end call (i.e. the Call delivered from the other carrier’s Network) will be a Mobile Call.

More Definitions of Mobile Call

Mobile Call means a wireless or VoIP call with a potentially foreign NPA/NXX. Use of a foreign NPA/NXX currently precludes the 911 system from directly routing calls and retrieving ALI for “mobile calls” without use of a pANI.
Mobile Call means any Customer Call where the number dialed by the calling party is a Mobile Number.
