Misconduct complaint definition

Misconduct complaint means any allegation of improper conduct by a sworn officer, whether the complaint alleges corruption or other criminal misconduct; a violation of law; or a violation of PPB policy, procedure, regulations, orders, or other standards of conduct required of City employees including, but not limited to, the improper use of force. This definition is not intended to create a right of appeal to the CRC for lethal force or in-custody death cases.
Misconduct complaint means any allegation of improper conduct by an officer or other EHPD employee, whether the complaint alleges corruption or other criminal misconduct; a violation of law; or a violation of EHPD policy or procedure. EHPD shall document and evaluate expressions of dissatisfaction regarding the service provided by EHPD officers or employees to determine whether these complaints include allegations of misconduct and are therefore misconduct complaints, or are purely service complaints.
Misconduct complaint means the complaint of an act/s of alleged Misconduct. “Member Union” means a Union in membership of the ARU.
