Minimum Opening Elevation definition

Minimum Opening Elevation means no openings, walk out access, top of window or walkout wells, foundation wall penetrations, gravity flow storm drains or outlets are permitted below this elevation. All storm drains or outlets shall be provided with a sump pump well and sump pump and shall be discharged on the lot at or above the “MOE” and no closer than 10’ from the property line.

  • Water Surface Elevation (WSE) means the height, in relation to NAVD 1988, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of riverine areas.
