Mill Closure definition

Mill Closure means (a) a public announcement by a Mill Owner that it will close its respective Mill for a period of at least one (1) year or that it will reduce production of pulp, paper or tissue (as applicable) at such Mill (permanently or for a period of at least two (2) years) to less than ten percent (10%) of 1994 production levels or (b) the occurrence of a two (2) year period during which, for any reason other than the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event (as defined in the Master Operating Agreement), such Mill Owner's production of pulp, paper or tissue (as applicable) at such Mill is less than ten percent (10%) of 1994 production levels.

Examples of Mill Closure in a sentence

  • No payment will be made under this section in cases where the employee has already qualified under Article XXII, Section 5, Job Elimination, or under Article XXI, Section 2, Permanent Mill Closure.

  • No payment will be made under this section in cases where the employee has already qualified under Article XXIV, Section 5, Job Elimination, or under Article XXIII, Section 2, Permanent Mill Closure.

  • No payment will be made under this section in cases where the employee has already qualified under Article XXIV, Section 5, Job Elimination, or under Article XXIII, Section 2, Permanent Mill Closure.

  • No payment will be made under this section in cases where an employee has already qualified under Article XXIII - Permanent Mill Closure, Section 2, or under Article XXIV - Job Elimination, Section 5.

  • No payment will be made under this section in cases where the employee has already qualified under Article XXII, Section 5, Job Elimination, or under Article XXI, Section 2, Permanent Mill Closure.

  • No payment be made under this section in cases where the employee has already qualified under Article XXII, Section Job Elimination, or under Article XXI, Section Permanent Mill Closure.

  • No payment will be made under this section in cases where an employee has already qualified under Article Permanent Mill Closure, Section or under Article Job Elimination, Section Such employees for whom no employment is available will be given at least thirty (30)days notice of separation.

  • Where the employee renounces the right of recall during the period, the employee will be terminated and his/ her severance allowance paid forthwith with all seniority and recall rights being forfeited No payment will be made under this section in cases where the employee has already qualified under Article Section Job Elimination, or under Article Section Permanent Mill Closure.
