Mid-C definition

Mid-C means the Mid-Columbia electricity region.
Mid-C means the trading hub located in eastern Washington that is commonly recognized by EDPs and other industry participants as the Mid-C trading hub.
Mid-C means an area which includes points at any of the switchyards associated with the following four hydro projects: Rocky Reach, Rock Island, Wanapum and Priest Rapids. These switchyards include: Rocky Reach, Rock Island, Wanapum, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, Valhalla, Columbia, Midway and Vantage. Mid-C shall also include points in the “Northwest Hub,” as defined by BPA. For scheduling purposes, the switchyards described above shall dictate the delivery point name for the then current WECC scheduling protocols. If the switchyards change during the Term, a mutually agreed upon set of switchyards that describes an area containing the most liquidity for trading purposes shall apply.

Examples of Mid-C in a sentence

  • Determine Delivery Period Pricing Shaping Adjustment Factor by dividing the Delivery Period Contract Price ($/MWh) (1d) for each Delivery Period by the Delivery Period Flat Mid-C Forward Market Price for each Delivery Period at time of contract execution (1e).

  • Determine Flat Mid-C Forward Market Price for each future Delivery Period on the date of calculation.

  • If the Day Ahead Mid-C Peak Index Price and Day Ahead Mid-C Off-Peak Index Price is no longer published or primarily utilized by the industry, the District will select another industry recognized index and notify Purchaser of the index to be used for this calculation.

  • If the Day Ahead Mid-C Peak Index Price and Day Ahead Mid-C Off-Peak Index Price is no longer published or primarily utilized by the industry, the Purchaser will select another industry recognized index and notify the District of the index to be used for this calculation.

  • Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, Capital I assume all risks and liability for damage to or injury occurring to the Capital I Property by fire, storm, accident, or any other casualty or cause until the Closing has been consummated.

  • In either event (as described in (a) and (b) above), the gains or losses, will be calculated by comparing the Annual Contract Price to the Day Ahead Mid-C Peak Index Price and Day Ahead Mid-C Off-Peak Index Price for the respective hours.

  • If the ICE Day Ahead Mid-C Peak and Off-Peak Index is no longer published or utilized by the industry, the Purchaser will select another industry recognized index and notify the District of the index to be used for this calculation.

  • MW means megawatt.

  • Day-ahead Energy Market means the schedule of commitments for the purchase or sale of energy and payment of Transmission Congestion Charges developed by the Office of the Interconnection as a result of the offers and specifications submitted in accordance with Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, section 1.10 and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K-Appendix.

  • Intermodal Rail Yard means a rail facility in which cargo is transferred from drayage truck to train or vice-versa.

  • Annual Energy Use means, (i) with respect to the first year following the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kilowatt hours (“kWh”), within the Party’s respective jurisdiction and (ii) with respect to the period after the anniversary of the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kWh, of accounts within a Party’s respective jurisdiction that are served by the Authority; and

  • Electric bicycle means a "class 1 electric bicycle," a "class 2 electric bicycle," or a "class 3 electric bicycle" as defined in this section.
