Microfridge definition

Microfridge means any combination of the following appliances intended for use within a residence hall student’s room: refridgerator; refridgerator and microwave; microwave.

Examples of Microfridge in a sentence

  • A Microfridge is provided for each Residence Hall room; therefore microwaves and refrigerators and freezers are not allowed in the Residence Halls.

  • The exception is either one Energy Star rated 900watt Microfridge no larger than 4.2 cu.

  • Students may rent or purchase Microfridge units from the approved outside vendor.

  • In all other areas, cooking will be permitted with a University approved microwave, refrigerator/freezer and/or Micro-fridge unit.

  • The room will be checked to ensure that windows are locked, shades drawn halfway, everything unplugged except the Microfridge, the removal of perishable food items, and emptied trash bins.

  • Trash can with stack of liners Microfridge (small refrigerator with microwave on top – attempting to secure these from a vendor we work with that students use no update as of 4/6) Small set of bathroom cleaning supplies and gloves (responder is not expected to scrub the bathroom – this is for just in case) There is a bed, desk, chair, dresser and a place to hang clothes Wi-Fi is available.

  • If you order by the deadline, your Microfridge will be waiting in your room when you arrive.
