Micro-Watershed definition

Micro-Watershed means a subdivision of the Laguna de Bay Watershed that consists of a smaller catchment or drainage area designated as a Micro-Watershed by LLDA for purposes of better resource management and conservation, and “Micro-Watersheds” mean, collectively, the plural thereof;
Micro-Watershed means a part of a sub-watershed;
Micro-Watershed means a unit of a Sub-watershed (as hereinafter defined) covering about 500 hectares;

  • Watershed means a defined land area drained by a river or stream, karst system, or system of connecting rivers or streams such that all surface water within the area flows through a single outlet. In karst areas, the karst feature to which water drains may be considered the single outlet for the watershed.

  • Fresh water means water having a specific conductivity less than a solution containing six thousand (6,000) parts per million of sodium chloride.

  • Navigable waters ’ means the waters of the United States, including the territorial sea;

  • Asphalt means a dark brown to black cement-like material (solid, semisolid, or liquid in consistency) in which the predominating constituents are bitumens which occur in nature as such or which are obtained as residue in refining petroleum.

  • River means a flowing body of water or a portion or tributary of a flowing body of water, including streams, creeks, or impoundments and small lakes thereon.
