MHz-Pops definition

MHz-Pops means, with respect to any set of spectrum rights, the number of MHz of spectrum bandwidth to which such rights apply, multiplied by the population residing within the Geographic Service Area (as defined in Section 27.1206 of the FCC Rules, a “GSA”) covered by such rights, as modified by any partitioning of such GSA, and as otherwise determined by applying the standards and methodology set forth below and in Article 9. For the purpose of calculating MHz and MHz-Pops:
MHz-Pops means with respect to any FCC License the number of megahertz of wireless spectrum covered by such FCC License multiplied by the population in the geographic area covered by such FCC License.
MHz-Pops with respect to any FCC License shall mean the number of megahertz of wireless spectrum covered by such FCC Licenses multiplied by the population in the geographic area covered by such FCC License, directly derived from the amounts set forth in Annex C.

More Definitions of MHz-Pops

MHz-Pops means the amount of megahertz of spectrum multiplied by the population within a specified service area.
MHz-Pops means, with respect to any set of spectrum rights, the number of MHz of spectrum bandwidth to which such rights apply, multiplied by the population residing within the Geographic Service Area (as defined in Section 27.1206 of the FCC Rules, a GSA ) covered by such rights. For the purpose of calculating MHz and MHz-Pops, only the MHz and MHz-Pops associated with Licenses that are in full force and effect shall be included in any calculation. Determination of population for any GSA or BTA will be based upon the current SRC, LLC population database, or such other industry-standard database as may be mutually agreed upon by the Parties. Clearwire will use MapInfo and its proprietary software to determine GSA boundaries and associated population counts as well as to plot such GSAs for graphical presentation.

  • Peak tube potential means the maximum value of the potential difference across the x-ray tube during an exposure.

  • Service Switching Point (SSP means the telephone Central Office Switch equipped with a Signaling System 7 (SS7) interface.

  • Bandwidth means a distributor’s defined tolerance used to flag data for further scrutiny at the stage in the VEE process where a current reading is compared to a reading from an equivalent historical billing period. For example, a 30 percent bandwidth means a current reading that is either 30 percent lower or 30 percent higher than the measurement from an equivalent historical billing period will be identified by the VEE process as requiring further scrutiny and verification;

  • Meet Point A point, designated by the Parties, at which one Party’s responsibility for service begins and the other Party’s responsibility ends.

  • Eligible customer-generator means a customer-generator whose net energy metering system for renewable resources, cogeneration, fuel cells, and microturbines meets all applicable safety and performance standards.

  • Customer-generator means a user of a net metering system.

  • Node means an area designated by the State Planning Commission concentrating facilities and activities which are not organized in a compact form.

  • Service Switching Point (SSP) is a telephone central office switch equipped with a Signaling System 7 (SS7) interface.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.
