MFCD definition

MFCD means the MFCD board of directors as contracting authority for the District. The district manager has authority to contract for services when the full cost is under $500 without formal board approval.

  • The Contractor and its Subcontractors shall cooperate with all audits and investigations performed by duly authorized representatives of the state of Washington, HCA and Washington State Medicaid Fraud Control Division (MFCD), as well as the federal DHHS, auditors from the federal Government Accountability Office, federal Office of the Inspector General and federal Office of Management and Budget.

  • Any authorized State or federal agency or entity, including, but not limited to, the Division of TennCare, OIG, TBI MFCD, DHHS OIG, DOJ, Office of the Comptroller of the Treasury, and the Office of the Attorney General, may use these records and information for administrative, civil or criminal investigations and prosecutions.

  • Requested records shall be provided at no expense to the Division of TennCare, authorized federal, State, and Office of the Comptroller of the Treasury personnel, including representatives from the OIG, the TBI MFCD, DOJ and the DHHS OIG, the Office of the Attorney General, or any duly authorized State or federal agency.

  • Any authorized government agency, including but not limited to OIG, TBI MFCD, DHHS OIG, DOJ, and the Office of the Attorney General, may use these records to carry out their authorized duties, reviews, audits, administrative, civil and/or criminal investigations and/or prosecutions.

  • For purposes of clarity with respect to this Section, HIPAA does not bar disclosure of protected health information (PHI) to health oversight agencies, including, but not limited to, OIG, TBI MFCD, DHHS OIG, DOJ, and the Office of the Attorney General.

  • If HCA, MFCD, or other law enforcement agency accepts the referral, HCA will notify the Contractor’s compliance officers within five (5) business days of any determination to suspend payments.

  • Provision for notification of the Contractor’s program integrity activities when requested by HCA and MFCD to prevent duplication of activities.

  • Referring of Allegations of Potential Fraud and Invoking Provider Payment Suspensions HCA shall notify the Contractor’s compliance officers whether MFCD, or other law enforcement agency, accepts or declines the referral within five (5) business days.
