Metabolome definition

Metabolome means enzymes, receptors, transporters that are direct exponents of cellular, or biochemical reactions (including redox reactions), in each case, that [**], e.g., amino acids, nucleotides, lipids, carbohydrate monomers and dimers. For the avoidance of doubt, “Metabolome” will exclude, for example, proteins that have activity in signal transduction, epigenetic, protein translation, cellular or sub-cellular structures, gene expression, protein degradation via the ubiquitination pathway as their role in cellular function.
