Meritorious definition

Meritorious means meeting Agency work performance guidelines;
Meritorious means something more than "clearly not devoid of merit". P should establish a good chance of success. It is not sufficient for P to allege that he believes that an order of security for costs will cause him financial hardship which may affect his ability to continue with this action.

Examples of Meritorious in a sentence

  • A tenured faculty member of the rank of University Professor, Professor, or Associate Professor who has received a rating of Meritorious or Exceptional Annual Performance for the previous year, in agreement with his/her Chair- person/Director, may forego the accomplishment report and will receive an adjectival rating of Meritorious Annual Performance.
