MEPA definition

MEPA means Multi-Ethnic Placement Act (MEPA), Public Law 103-382 (1994).
MEPA or “The Multi-Ethnic Placement Act” means the Federal Act is found in Public Law 103-382 [42 USC 622] and prohibits the delay or denial of any adoption or placement in xxxxxx care due to the race, color, or national origin of the child or of the xxxxxx or adoptive parents, and requires States to provide for diligent recruitment of potential xxxxxx and adoptive families who reflect the ethnic and racial diversity of children for whom families are needed.
MEPA means the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) (M.G.L. c. 30, ss. 61-62I and its implementing regulations at 301 CMR 11.00, as they may be amended from time to time.
