MEP Engineer means the qualified professional consulting services firm performing professional engineering design services and other disciplines for the Cook- Wissahickon Major HVAC Renovation Project pursuant to this Contract.

MEP Engineer means an engineer which has entered into a written agreement to perform all or any portion of the MEP engineering services as the MEP engineer of record which is responsible for stamping its plans and drawings for the Construction, which engineer and its MEP Engineer’s Agreement has been approved by Lender as set forth in Section 3.1(AA), and for the Project means CH2M Hill Industrial Design & Construction, Inc., a duly licensed engineer in the State and, as required, locally where the Land is located, and such other duly licensed engineer in the State and, as required, locally where the Land is located, as approved in writing by Lender, from time to time.

• The MEP Engineer shall participate in value engineering sessions as required by the School District in order to ensure that the Estimated Construction Cost stays within the Project Construction Budget.

• The MEP Engineer shall review the School District’s and the Construction Management Firm’s recommendations regarding the design aspects of the Project, and shall resolve any design issues, to the satisfaction of the School District’s Office of Capital Programs.

• The MEP Engineer shall include this Paragraph 6.13 in all Subcontracts for Services required by this Contract.

• The MEP Engineer shall pay each Subconsultant performing Services promptly, after receipt of payment from the School District, out of the amount paid to the MEP Engineer on account of the Services of such Subconsultant the amount to which such Subconsultant is entitled.
