Memory Care Units definition

Memory Care Units means at least twenty-four (24) living units reserved for residents with dementia (as defined by California Code of Regulations, Title 22 § 87101(d)(4)) and providing services to those residents consistent with the requirements set forth in California Code of Regulations, Title 22 § 87705 (as such regulations may be updated or revised from time to time and pursuant to any successor regulations).

  • Intensive Care Unit means that part or unit of a Hospital established for and devoted to providing intensive medical and nursing care for Inpatients.

  • Non-Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has not been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Hospice patient s family" means a hospice patient's immediate family members, including a spouse, brother, sister, child, or parent, and any other relative or individual who has significant personal ties to the patient and who is designated as a member of the patient's family by mutual agreement of the patient, the relative or individual, and the patient's interdisciplinary team.

  • Designated Service Provider means a healthcare provider or group of providers selected by Bonitas as the preferred provider or providers to provide any of its members the diagnosis, treatment and care in respect of one or more prescribed minimum benefit conditions;
