Member Congregation definition
Member Congregation means a community of believers gathered around Word and Sacrament for worship and sharing of doctrine and confession as expressed in the Synodical Constitution, which community has been received at a Convention or by the Board as a Member Congregation;
Member Congregation means a congregation or several congregations which are served by a common pastoral ministry and which is a member of this church in accordance with these bylaws;
Member Congregation of the Synod shall mean an individual congregation which has applied for and been received into membership in the Synod pursuant to the provisions of the Bylaws of the Synod.
