Medicare Advantage Program definition

Medicare Advantage Program means a product established by Plan pursuant to a contract with the CMS which complies with all applicable requirements of Part C of Title 42 of United States Code, Chapter 7 of the Social Security Act, Subchapter XVIII Health Insurance for Aged and Disabled, Section 1395 et seq, as amended from time to time, and which is available to individuals entitled to and enrolled in Medicare or any successor program(s) thereto regardless of the name(s) thereof.

Medicare Advantage Program means the Medicare managed care program as defined by Law.

Medicare Advantage Program means a benefit program/Product established by Plan(s) pursuant to a contract with CMS which complies with all applicable requirements of Part C of the Social Security Act, as amended from time to time, and which is available to individuals entitled to and enrolled in Medicare or any successor program(s) thereto regardless of the name(s) thereof.
Medicare Advantage Program means the program created by Congress in the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 to replace the Medicare+Choice Program established under Part C of Title XVIII of the Social Security Act.

  • Medicare Advantage plan means a plan of coverage for health benefits under Medicare Part C as defined in 42 U.S.C. 1395w-28(b)(1), and includes:

  • Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.

  • Medicaid program means the medical assistance

  • Child Care Program means a person or business that offers child care.

  • Loan Program means the State Treasurer’s Interest-Free Loan Program for Colorado School Districts authorized pursuant to the Loan Program Statutes.

  • Non-Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has not been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Nursing program means a series of courses leading to an LPN certificate or an ADN degree provided through a Wyoming community college; or a BSN degree or a Master’s degree provided through the University of Wyoming; or, in the case of a candidate for a doctoral degree, provided through an institution offering the required nursing education courses under contract with the WICHE, or in a distance nursing education program provided through a university that is regionally accredited.

  • Medicare benefit means the Medicare benefit payable within the meaning of Part II of the Health Insurance Act 1973 with respect to a professional service.

  • Medicaid means the medical assistance programs administered by state agencies and approved by CMS pursuant to the terms of Title XIX of the Social Security Act, codified at 42 U.S.C. 1396 et seq.

  • Rehabilitation Program means a written vocational rehabilitation program:

  • Affordable housing program(s means any mechanism in a municipal Fair Share Plan prepared or implemented to address a municipality’s fair share obligation.

  • Cooperative education program means a written voluntary agreement between and among districts to provide certain educational programs for pupils in certain groups of districts. The written agreement shall be approved by all affected districts at least annually and shall specify the educational programs to be provided and the estimated number of pupils from each district who will participate in the educational programs.

  • Individualized education program or “IEP” means a written statement for a child with a disability as defined in 14 DE Admin. Code 922.

  • E-Verify Program above means the employment verification program administered by the United States Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, or any successor program.

  • Medical Reimbursement Programs means a collective reference to the Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE programs and any other health care program operated by or financed in whole or in part by any foreign or domestic federal, state or local government.

  • Federal Health Care Program means any “federal health care program” as defined in 42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7b(f), including Medicare, state Medicaid programs, state CHIP programs, the Veterans Administration, TRICARE and similar or successor programs with or for the benefit of any Governmental Authority, and in each case any third party payor administering such programs.
