Medical institution means an organization in which several medical disciplines are practiced.
Capital Instruments Regulations means the Delegated Regulation and any other rules or regulations of the Relevant Authority or which are otherwise applicable to the Issuer or the Group (as the case may be and, where applicable), whether introduced before or after the Issue Date of the relevant Series of Notes, which prescribe (alone or in conjunction with any other rules or regulations) the requirements to be fulfilled by financial instruments for their inclusion in the Own Funds to the extent required under the CRD IV Package;
Educator practice instrument means an assessment tool that provides: scales or dimensions that capture competencies of professional performance; and differentiation of a range of professional performance as described by the scales, which must be shown in practice and/or research studies. The scores from educator practice instruments for teaching staff members other than teachers, Principals, Vice Principals, and Assistant Principals may be applied to the teaching staff member’s summative evaluation rating in a manner determined by the school district.
Trade Instruments means any performance bonds, or advance payment bonds or documentary letters of credit issued in respect of the obligations of any member of the Group arising in the ordinary course of trading of that member of the Group.
Medical control means a person who provides medical supervision to an emergency medical service provider.

Collateral Instruments means notes, bills of exchange, certificates of deposit and other negotiable and non-negotiable instruments, guarantees, indemnities and other assurances against financial loss and any other documents or instruments which contain or evidence an obligation (with or without security) to pay, discharge or be responsible directly or indirectly for any indebtedness or liabilities of any person and includes any documents or instruments creating or evidencing an Security Interest.
National Instrument 51-102 means National Instrument 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations;
Nonprescription drugs means nonnarcotic medicines or drugs which may be sold without a prescription and are prepackaged and labeled for use by the consumer in accordance with the requirements of the statutes and regulations of this state and the federal government;

State practice laws means a party state's laws, rules and regulations that govern the practice of nursing, define the scope of nursing practice, and create the methods and grounds for imposing discipline. "State practice laws" do not include requirements necessary to obtain and retain a license, except for qualifications or requirements of the home state.
Registered Health Practitioner means a health practitioner registered, or licensed, as a health practitioner (or as a health practitioner of a particular type) under a law of a State or Territory that provides for the registration or licensing of health practitioners (or health practitioners of that type).
Medical home means a team approach to providing health care that originates in a primary care setting; fosters a partnership among the patient, the personal provider, and other health care professionals, and where appropriate, the patient’s family; utilizes the partnership to access and integrate all medical and nonmedical health-related services across all elements of the health care system and the patient’s community as needed by the patient and the patient’s family to achieve maximum health potential; maintains a centralized, comprehensive record of all health-related services to promote continuity of care; and has all of the characteristics specified in section 135.158.
Tier 1 Instruments means any and all (i) securities or other obligations (other than Tier 1 Shares) issued by UBS Group AG or (ii) shares, securities, participation securities or other obligations (other than Tier 1 Shares) issued by a subsidiary of UBS Group AG and having the benefit of a guarantee, credit support agreement or similar undertaking of UBS Group AG, each of which shares, securities, participation securities or other obligations described in clauses (i) and (ii) of this definition qualify, or are issued in respect of a security that qualifies, as Tier 1 Capital of the Group and/or UBS Group AG (without regard to quantitative limits on such capital) on a consolidated (Finanzgruppe) or on an unconsolidated (Einzelinstitut) basis.
Financial Instruments means commodities, securities, and derivatives of all types, including, without limitation, stocks and other equity instruments, bonds and other debt instruments, commodities and futures, forwards, swaps, and options that derive their value from bonds, equities, commodities or indices thereof. Licensed health care practitioner means a physician, as defined in Section 1861(r)(1) of the Social Security Act, a registered professional nurse, licensed social worker or other individual who meets requirements prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury.

Tier 2 Instruments means at any time tier 2 instruments as interpreted and applied in accordance with the Applicable Banking Regulations;
Intellectual Property Security Agreements has the meaning specified in the Security Agreement.
Medical cannabis means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
