Medical command physician means a physician certified by the
Medical command physician means a physician validly licensed by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners or another state's board of medical examiners (or equivalent licensing agency) who provides medical direction to ALS crewmembers via radio, telephone or other direct means of communications. The criteria for medical command physicians differ for mobile intensive care units, specialty care transport units and air medical units. The specific criteria for each are set forth at N.J.A.C. 8:41-9.5, 10.5 and 11.5, respectively.
