MBS Systems shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 1.03.E hereof.

MBS Systems means the processes developed by Marriott that consolidate, on a system-wide basis in the Marriott Hotel System, into one or more shared services centers, certain accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable, revenue capture subsidiary ledger, human resources management systems and related functions and procedures, or any similar or successor systems thereof.

Examples of MBS Systems in a sentence

  • Corporate finance, including corporate treasury, financial planning and analysis and corporate accounting, excluding accounting services provided to the hotels as part of Chain Services or the MBS Systems.

  • In operating the Hotels, Manager may provide or cause to be provided, and the Hotels will participate in, certain functions for the operation of the Hotels through the use of facilities, systems, equipment and individuals not physically located at the Hotels, including Chain Services, MBS Systems, Reservation Systems, Loyalty Programs, Marketing Fund Activities and Program Services (collectively referred to as the “Above-Property Programs & Services”).

  • Manager may change the scope, services, service provider, features and functions of the MBS Systems from time to time as it determines in its reasonable discretion to be most efficient and economical for the System.

  • Manager shall manage certain aspects of the Hotel’s finances through the MBS Systems.

  • Except as otherwise specifically provided hereunder and as may be required in connection with the MBS Systems, all payments made by Manager hereunder shall be made from the Operating Accounts, ▇▇▇▇▇ cash funds, or from the FF&E Reserve (in accordance with Section 5.02).

  • In operating the Hotel, Manager may provide or cause to be provided, and the Hotel will participate in, certain functions for the operation of the Hotel through the use of facilities, systems, equipment and individuals not physically located at the Hotel, including Chain Services, MBS Systems, Reservation Systems, Loyalty Programs and Program Services (collectively referred to as the “Above-Property Programs & Services”).

  • If the MBS Systems used by hotels in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Hotel System are also provided to other hotel brands owned by Marriott or its Affiliates, the costs and expenses incurred by Manager or its Affiliates in providing such MBS Systems shall be allocated to such other brands on a fair and consistent basis, taking into account the level of MBS Systems being provided to each of such other brands.

  • Costs and expenses (collectively, the “MBS Charges”) incurred by Manager or its Affiliates in providing the MBS Systems, which shall include both MBS Systems development costs and current operating costs and expenses, shall be allocated on a fair and consistent basis among all participating hotels in the Marriott Hotel System.

  • Except as may be required in connection with MBS Systems, all funds derived from operation of the Hotel shall be deposited by Manager in accounts in Manager’s name, established by Manager in a bank or banks designated by Manager and approved by Owner.

  • If the MBS Systems used by hotels in the Marriott Hotel System are also provided to other hotel brands owned by Marriott or its Affiliates, the costs and expenses incurred by Manager or its Affiliates in providing such MBS Systems shall be allocated to such other brands on a fair and consistent basis, taking into account the level of MBS Systems being provided to each of such other brands.
