Mayor-Elect definition

Mayor-Elect means a Councillor elected to be the next Mayor as part of an informal process and who is expected to be elected as Mayor at a formal meeting of the Council;
Mayor-Elect means the successful candidate for the office of Mayor following an election, who has not yet been formally installed or invested with their office.

  • Campaign for elective office means any activity in furtherance of an effort to influence the selection, nomination, election, or appointment of any individual to any federal, State, or local public office or office in a political organization, or the selection, nomination, or election of Presidential or Vice-Presidential electors, but does not include activities (i) relating to the support or opposition of any executive, legislative, or administrative action, (ii) relating to collective bargaining, or (iii) that are otherwise in furtherance of the person's official duties.

  • Safe Harbor Election has the meaning set forth in Section 10.2(d).

  • Nonprofit corporation means that term as defined under section 108 of the nonprofit corporation act, 1982 PA 162, MCL 450.2108.

  • Foreign nonprofit corporation means an entity:
