MAXIMUM RESIDENCE TIME definition
MAXIMUM RESIDENCE TIME means a point in the distribution system where the treated water has been in the system for the longest or maximum time, as measured by water transport time. Sample locations between 90 and 100 percent of the maximum are considered to be representative of maximum residence time.
