maximum permissible dose (MPD) means the maximum dose equivalent that the body of a radiation worker or specific parts of the body shall be permitted to receive in a stated period of time, and for the purpose of these regulations tire latest values of MPD recommended by the ICRP (details of which ate obtainable from the Secretary) shall apply; (27)
