Maximum day demand (MDD) definition

Maximum day demand (MDD) means the highest ac- tual or estimated quantity of water that is, or is expected to be, used over a twenty-four hour period, excluding unusual events or emer- gencies. MDD is typically expressed as gallons per day per ERU (gpd/ ERU).
Maximum day demand (MDD) means the amount of water utilized by consumers during the highest day of use (midnight to midnight), excluding fire flow, as determined pursuant to Section 64554.
