Material Handling definition

Material Handling means the handling, transporting, loading, unloading, storage, and transfer of material with no significant chemical or physical alteration.

  • material hoist means a hoist used to lower or raise material and equipment, excluding passengers; "medical certificate of fitness" means a certificate contemplated in regulation 7(8);

  • Adverse Event means any untoward medical occurrence in a human clinical trial subject or in a patient who is administered a Product, whether or not considered related to the Product including, without limitation, any undesirable sign (including abnormal laboratory findings of clinical concern), symptom or disease associated with the use of such Product.

  • Adverse system impact means a negative effect that compromises the safety or reliability of the electric distribution system or materially affects the quality of electric service provided by the electric distribution company (EDC) to other customers.

  • COVID-19 hazard means exposure to potentially infectious material that may contain SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Potentially infectious materials include airborne droplets, small particle aerosols, and airborne droplet nuclei, which most commonly result from a person or persons exhaling, talking or vocalizing, coughing, sneezing, or procedures performed on persons which may aerosolize saliva or respiratory tract fluids, among other things. This also includes objects or surfaces that may be contaminated with SARS-CoV-2.

  • Material Modifications means any modifications to the material related party transactions which were approved by the Audit Committee or Shareholders during the year which will change the complete nature of the transaction and in case of monetary thresholds which is in excess of 10% of the originally approved transaction, in case of exigencies only.
