Match Fees definition

Match Fees means the amounts so described, which are payable under this Agreement in accordance with Schedule 1. Match Official includes referees, touch judges, in-goal touch judges, video referees, interchange officials, ground managers, timekeepers, sin bin operators and any other person appointed by NSWRL or otherwise (including where a person is appointed by the Club or another club participating in a Match) in respect of the organisation, control administration or adjudication of a Match. Media means and includes all forms of broadcast, radio, print, electronic media, excluding Social Media. National Rugby League means National Rugby League Limited, ABN 23 082 088 962. NRL Competitions means the various rugby league premierships, tournaments, competitions and matches controlled by and conducted under the auspices of National Rugby League.

Match Fees has the meaning given to that expression in Clause 4.1 calculated by reference to Schedule 1 to this Agreement; ‘moneys’ – means the Match Fees referred to in Clause 4.1 and the Playing Fee referred to in Clause 4.2;

Examples of Match Fees in a sentence

  • Payments received by the Player under this Agreement in the form of Playing Fees and Match Fees are inclusive of any entitlement to paid leave.

  • If the Player is selected to play for the BLACKCAPS or a New Zealand Team he will be entitled to receive Match Fees in accordance with the Master Agreement.

  • Any Match Fees and other entitlements will be paid monthly in arrears.

  • Subject to this Agreement the Club will pay to the Player the Match Fees in respect of the Matches played by the Player for the Club.

  • Match Fees payable to those Players will be as set out in Schedule 8.

  • Where a Major Association Contracted Player is selected for the BLACKCAPS for an overseas tour between 2 October and 14 April in any Contract Year, he will continue to receive his Major Association Player Retainer payments in addition to any Match Fees.

  • If the Player is selected to play for the Major Association Team, he will be entitled to receive Match Fees in accordance with the Master Agreement.

  • Such a Player is entitled to payment of Match Fees, but is not entitled to payment of a Player Retainer.

  • Additional Match Fees are paid in full for Part Time Referees and not pro rata.

  • NZC, an NZC Contracted Player and his Major Association may, however, agree that the Player will take an additional period of rest during which he will not be entitled to receive his NZC Retainer or Match Fees.
