  • If you are not entitled to Statutory Maternity Pay the Human Resources Unit will return the MATB1 to you, enclosing form SMP1 which will advise you how to make a claim to the Department of Work and Pensions for Maternity Allowance (payable up to a maximum of 39 weeks).
