Masterbatch definition

Masterbatch means a preparation of one or more polymers which encapsulate a high concentration of ingredients like colorants, fillers, fibres or stabilizers that influence the physical properties of the final preparation. A masterbatch is intended to be blended with a polymer and not used to make an article as such.

Masterbatch means any formulation of the Materials which shall be designated by NTI as appropriate to be applied to the specific requirements for corrosion protection, as afforded by the Product, of a known customer desirous of protecting an identified object (or objects) which are to be subjected to an anticipated certain range of corrosive influences.
