Manager’s Services definition

Manager’s Services provision in most management agreements, whether pro-management or pro-artist, is generally a boilerplate list of a Manager’s duties. Boilerplate, as we discussed in the intro, are standard legal provisions that generally do not necessarily favor one party or the other, and are therefore not usually negotiated . Nonetheless, the Artist should carefully read through this section of the contract to see if there is anything potentially harmful, such as a power of attorney in favor of the Manager, which would allow the Manager to execute contracts and other legal documents on the Artist’s behalf without her knowledge or approval.

Examples of Manager’s Services in a sentence

  • The Project Management Fee for Project Manager’s Services, as determined by the method described in Article 8.1 herein, includes out-of-pocket costs of Project Manager for telephone calls (including long-distance and facsimile), postage, cellular phone usage, photo printing, delivery services, parking, mileage at IRS rate and document printing.

  • The Project Schedule shall coordinate and integrate the Construction Manager’s Services, the Design Professional’s services, and the Owner’s responsibilities through the Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Document phases.

  • The parties agree that the Construction Manager’s Services described herein are based on a construction manager / general contractor structure on the Project(s).

  • The compensation to be paid to Construction Manager, as provided herein, shall be a firm, fixed price and shall be full consideration for all of Construction Manager’s Services and expenses, direct or indirect, including travel and per-diem, and all other costs incidental to providing the Services.

  • Construction Manager must contract for, at Construction Manager’s expense, Subconsultants, to the extent deemed necessary for performance of Construction Manager’s Services.

  • The Parties agree that the Construction Manager’s Services described herein are based on a construction manager/general contractor structure on this Project.

  • The Company acknowledges that the Manager’s Services are not exclusive to the Company and that the Manager will render similar Services to other persons and entities.

  • The Judicial Council will examine the documents submitted by the Construction Manager and will render decisions so as to avoid unreasonable delay in the process of the Construction Manager’s Services.

  • The Construction Manager’s Services for the Project shall be as follows and as enumerated within Exhibits “A”, “B” and “C” to this Agreement.

  • In consideration of Development Manager’s Services hereunder, Owner shall pay to Development Manager a fee (the “Development Manager Fee”), equal to three and one-half percent (3.5%) of the total Project Costs (including both Hard Costs and Soft Costs, but exclusive of the cost of the Land, as reflected in the Development Budget) minus the original principal balance of the HF Loan (as defined in the LLC Agreement).
