Makeup days definition

Makeup days means designated game days for playing scheduled matches that are incomplete due to inclement weather on the originally-scheduled day. Teams must be available on makeup weekends for UISA matches as needed.

Examples of Makeup days in a sentence

  • Makeup days or hours shall not be scheduled if the number of Calamity Days does not exceed the student hour equivalent of five (5) school days.

  • Makeup days or hours for professional development and/or student instruction may be scheduled by the Board at the Superintendent’s discretion in the event the number of Calamity Days exceeds the student hour equivalent of five (5) school days.

  • Make-up days are voluntary and should a crew member decline the make-up day work, the Contractor may select a member of another crew as a replacement, or allow the crew to work without the regular crew member.

  • Make-up days for missed non-student contact days will be scheduled on the calendar, and all missed non-student contact day programs must be made up on those dates, within sixty (60) days of the program or activity missed.

  • Make-up days, if approved, will be arranged by the Building and Grounds Manager.

  • Make-up days will be allowed to occur after the fact, only in the case of new employees hired July 1 or after, who did not have the opportunity to schedule make-up days prior to the absence for the holidays.

  • Make-up days as provided in certain collective bargaining agreements listed on Schedule A shall apply to work covered by this Agreement.

  • Make-up days shall not be used to make-up time lost due to a holiday.

  • Make-up days shall be scheduled by the Superintendent; however, the Association shall have the opportunity to provide input prior to the Board approval.

  • Makeup days may be scheduled on Saturday or Sunday only upon mutual agreement between the Association and the Board.
