Mainframe Application Development Tool definition
Mainframe Application Development Tool means computer software that is designed to be used by computer programmers to perform tasks associated with the creation, development, debugging and ongoing maintenance of application software programs that execute on the class of computing devices known as mainframe computers (i.e., System/390 architecture). Application development tools used by computer programmers with application software programs for other classes of computing devices are not included.
