Madonna/whore complex definition
Madonna/whore complex means that a girl may either be a “good” girl who is worthy of a committed relationship, or a “bad” girl who is worthy of a sexual relationship but nothing else (Tanzer 1985, Browyn 2006). This dichotomy becomes especially important during college, when young women who wish to find a relationship or be respected by young men cannot openly act on their sexual desires.
