Lyft App refers to the technology platform (also referred to as the “Lyft Platform”) that connects users (Drivers and Riders) of the Lyft platform to one another for the provision of transportation by way of a mobile-phone application. For this agreement only, the term Lyft App may refer to any and all versions of the Lyft smartphone application, the Lyft website, and/or any future dynamic electronic interface that Lyft might adopt during the Term of this Agreement.

Examples of Lyft App in a sentence

  • The parties acknowledge and agree that: (a) PSTA has no ownership or control over Lyft, Lyft Partner Drivers, or Lyft Partner Driver vehicles; and, (b) before receiving the PSTA Promo Code, the Lyft App will require riders to acknowledge that such users understand and assume any and all risks associated with using the Lyft App.

  • Independent contractors as authorized users of the Lyft Platform ("Drivers") providing driving services using their own vehicles may accept Ride Requests from Riders in order to provide such Riders with transportation services ("Driving Services''), Once a Ride Request is accepted by a Driver, and a Driver and Rider are matched via the Lyft App, Rider may enter the Driver's vehicle and receive Driving Services from one location to another (each, a ''Ride").

  • Lyft operates a multimodal, transportation-as-a-service ridesharing platform ("Lyft Platform") and mobile application (the "Lyft App") which allows authorized users ("Riders") the opportunity to request a ride from one location to another (each, a "Ride Request").

  • The Lyft for Business ("LFB") program allows Agency to administer, track and view LFB transportation of Riders whom have created an additional Business Profile within the Rider's individual Lyft App.

  • The Driver may contact the User via the calling or texting features within the Lyft App to provide updates on the Request (the telephone number of the User is masked to the Driver and the Driver will never have visibility into the actual telephone number of the User – further, the Driver will only be able to use the masked number between acceptance of the Request and completion of the Ride).

  • A “Lyft Credit” is defined as credit made available for use on the Lyft Platform to be applied towards rides arranged via the Lyft App.

  • Alternative energy technology means equipment, component parts, materials, electronic devices, testing equipment, and related systems that are specifically designed, specifically fabricated, and used primarily for 1 or more of the following:

  • Sale Order means an Order of the Bankruptcy Court approving this Agreement and the transactions contemplated hereby, which Order shall be in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, with such changes as may be consented to by Buyer (which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed) or as the Parties may mutually agree.
