LTSS definition

LTSS means Long Term Services and Supports.
LTSS means long-term support and services under the home and community services division.

LTSS means specific Medicaid-covered services including intermediate care facility services for individuals with developmental disabilities, any institutional long- term care or nursing facility services at a custodial level of care, services provided via a Home and Community Based Waiver program, Targeted Case Management, or Medicaid State Plan Personal Assistance Services.
LTSS means a broad range of personal care assistance that people may need – for several weeks, months, or years – when they experience difficulty completing self-care tasks as a result of aging, chronic illness, or disability. Long-term care services and supports also include community services such as meals, adult day care, and transportation services. People often need long-term care when they have a serious, ongoing health condition or disability. These services and supports may be provided in an individual’s home, a residential setting such as an Adult Family Home or Assisted Living Facility or a Skilled Nursing Home.
