LR Group means LR, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of any of them, individually or collectively.

LR Group has the meaning provided in Recital (D).

Examples of LR Group in a sentence

• This Contract and any dispute or claim between any member of the LR Group and the Client arising from or in connection with it, or the Services provided hereunder, will be governed by English law.

• If the Client requires Services from an LR Group entity other than LR, the Client hereby acknowledges and agrees that these Services will be performed by a subsidiary or affiliate of LR that is part of the LR Group.

• GOVERNING LAW This Agreement and any dispute or claim between any member of the LR Group and the Client arising from or in connection with it, or the Services provided hereunder, will be governed by English law.

• LR will keep confidential and not use or disclose to any third party outside the LR Group any data, plan or other written technical information (the Information) received from the Client except as may be required by law or as may be authorised by the Client, or as referenced below.

• Mainly the applicant may not be insolvent, no insolven- cy proceeding may be pending and/or the applicant may not be previously convicted.

• LR will provide to the Client either directly or through an entity in the LR Group its Ship Emergency Response Service (SERS) described below in respect of the Ships identified in the attached Schedule of Fees in accordance with the terms set out in this Service Agreement which includes the following factsheets : Technical Scope of SERS Factsheet Plans and Information Factsheet Emergency Information Factsheet.

• This obligation will not apply to any data, plans or other technical information that was in the Client’s possession before its disclosure by the LR Group or becomes part of the public domain through no fault of the Client or otherwise becomes available to the Client from an independent source not under a confidentiality obligation to a member of the LR Group.

• This obligation will not apply to any Information that (i) was in the LR Group’s possession before its disclosure by or on behalf of the Client to LR; or, (ii) is disclosed to a Third Party through no fault of LR; or (iii) otherwise becomes available to the LR Group from an independent source not under a confidentiality obligation to the Client; or, (iv) is provided to an LR Group contractor or supplier under confidentiality terms and controls.

• The Client has a duty to provide a safe place of work for LR Group personnel.

• In providing the Services, information or advice, the LR Group does not warrant the accuracy of any information or advice supplied.

LR Group means LR, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of any of them, individually or collectively, and the “Client” means the legal entity for whom the person accepting these contract terms is acting, its affiliates and subsidiaries and the officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of any of them, individually or collectively Ship Database - LR will have set up a ship specific computer model for each ship following receipt of required plans and information from the Client (see SERS Plans and Information Factsheet). LR will retain the Ship Database during the provision of SERS. Ship Model Report and Emergency Manual - On completion of the Ship Database LR will provide: SERS Ship Model Report containing information on the SERS computer model of the Ship database; SERS Emergency Manual which will contain a pro forma for reporting the information required from the Client to enable LR to provide SERS a SERS Notation for each ship for entry in the Register of Ships. LR Group means the Consultant, its affiliates and subsidiaries and the officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of any of them individually or collectively. The Client means the legal entity for whom the person accepting these contract terms is acting, its affiliates and subsidiaries and the officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of any of them, individually or collectively. The Consultant shall provide to the Client the Services referred to above and/or in attachments to this Contract or other related correspondence.
