Lot Front definition

Lot Front as used herein shall mean and refer to the side of the Lot which faces the adjacent street, or if a corner Lot, the side of the Lot which faces an adjacent street and which is or will be most fully faced by the front of the house to be constructed on the Lot. “Highest corner on the Lot Front” shall mean whichever of the two extreme ends of the top of curb on the Lot Front is higher in elevation.

More Definitions of Lot Front

Lot Front means that portion of a lot which abuts a public street (or alley if there is no public street frontage) and provides access to the property. If a lot abuts more than one (1) public street, the property owner prior to development may choose which fronting portion shall be the "lot front." If a lot or parcel does not abut a public street then that side or end of the lot or parcel which is nearest to a public street shall be considered to be the "lot front."

  • Lot Frontage means the width of a lot between the side lot lines measured along a line parallel to and 7.5 metres distant from the front lot line;

  • Yard, front means a yard extending across the full width of the lot between the front lot line of the lot and the nearest part of any main building or structure on the lot;

  • Lot Line, Front means, in the case of an interior lot, the line dividing the lot from the street. In the case of a corner lot, the shorter lot line abutting a street shall be deemed the front lot line. In the case of a corner lot where the length of the lot lines abutting a street are equivalent, or there are three abutting streets the front lot line shall be deemed to be the lot line where the side of the garden intended to be the front entrance is located. In the case of a through lot, only one of the lot lines abutting a street shall be deemed to be the front lot line;

  • Story means that portion of a building included between the upper surface of any floor and the upper surface of the floor next above, except that the topmost story shall be that portion of a building included between the upper surface of the topmost floor and the ceiling or roof above. If the finished floor level directly above a usable or unused underfloor space is more than 6 feet above grade for more than 50 percent of the total perimeter or is more than 12 feet above grade at any point, such usable or unused underfloor space shall be considered as a story.

  • Shopping Centre means a grouping of commercial retail outlets which have been designed, developed and managed as a unit by a single owner or group of owners or tenants located on the same lot or lots with a frontage not less than 45 metres and having common on-site parking;
