Lost shareholder definition
Lost shareholder means a shareholder shown by the records of a corporation to have been a 4406 stockholder shareholder for more than seven years but who, throughout that period, neither claimed a 4407 dividend or other sum nor corresponded in writing with the corporation or otherwise indicated an 4408 interest as evidenced by a memorandum or other record on file with the corporation and the corporation 4409 does not know the location of the shareholder at the end of such seven-year period.
Lost shareholder services will not be performed by PFPC on any shareholder accounts that are broker-controlled accounts where PFPC is not able to identify and depict "RPO" status. Except as set forth above, PFPC shall have no responsibility for any escheatment services.
