Loss of privilege definition

Loss of privilege means that students may not attend and/or participate in extracurricular school activities on or off campus before, during, or after school. Privileges include: fine arts and athletic activities, dances, pep rallies, assemblies, and school campus parking. Students may be subjected to “Loss of Privileges” for disciplinary consequence for misbehavior, and other reasons deemed appropriate by school administration. For example any time the student is suspended or disruptive in the classroom they are not allowed on campus at any time until the administrator lifts the suspension.

Students may be placed on the Loss of Privilege List for disciplinary consequences for misbehavior, and other reasons deemed appropriate by school administration. The list will be expire at the end of each semester.

Examples of Loss of privilege in a sentence

  • Loss of privilege to participate in ski racing for a defined time frame (for example, two weeks, including any scheduled races) 2.

  • Loss of privilege to participate in ski racing for the remainder of the season or 3.

  • Loss of privilege length will be determined by the administration/teacher.

  • Loss of privilege to participate in the lesson and receive a grade of 0% for the day.
