Long-term assignment definition
Long-term assignment means full-time assignment to the duty station for the execution of the Services for an uninterrupted period of 6 months or more. If long-term assignment is followed by subsequent assignments for periods of less than 6 months, the latter shall be considered short-term assignments.
Long-term assignment means an authorized assignment of an employee to a location outside of the District’s geographic area for a period in excess of six months.
