Long Service Leave shall be in accordance with and provided by Co-INVEST (or its successor).
An employee is eligible for long service leave in accordance with the Long Service Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Act 1976.
Effective April 1, 2008, the Employer will grant paid leave of up to 40 hours per year to a Registered Nurse who is in receipt of the Long Service Increment.
Nothing in this Agreement implies that an employee on entering into the agreement loses any accrued statutory entitlements such as Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Long Service, Parental Leave, WorkCover, Superannuation etc.
The applicable rate of pay for Long Service Leave will be the corresponding rate of pay in Appendix 1(A).
The assistance may include: flexibility of rosters; access to Annual Leave and/or Long Service Leave.
Long Service Leave entitlements will be in accordance with the Victorian Long Service Leave Act 1996 and will be revised in accordance with any amendments to that Act.
All Employees covered by this Agreement are entitled to long service leave on full pay under, subject to, and in accordance with, the provisions of Division 9, sections 93-114 of the Industrial Relations Act 2016 (Qld) as amended from time to time, or the provisions of the Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 1991 (Qld).
Employees who do not meet the above criteria on April 1, 2023 shall be eligible for the Long Service Step on the Employee’s anniversary date in which the Employee meets both conditions outlined in (1) above.
An employee is entitled to long service leave under either the Long Service Leave Act 1955 (NSW) or the Building and Construction Industry Long Service Payments Act 1986 (NSW).
