Long Service definition

Long Service means uninterrupted employment of 10 years, and additional periods of five years’ completed uninterrupted employment;
Long Service means completed service to the Association of twelve (12) years active service or ten (10) years active service plus four (4) years active reserve service of satisfactory patrol obligations.
Long Service means a service pipe greater than 100m in length from the connection with the public watermain to the customer’s premises.

Examples of Long Service in a sentence

  • Long Service Leave shall be in accordance with and provided by Co-INVEST (or its successor).

  • All Employees covered by this Agreement are entitled to long service leave on full pay under, subject to, and in accordance with, the provisions of Division 9, sections 93-114 of the Industrial Relations Act 2016 (Qld) as amended from time to time, or the provisions of the Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 1991 (Qld).

  • Employees who do not meet the above criteria on April 1, 2023 shall be eligible for the Long Service Step on the Employee’s anniversary date in which the Employee meets both conditions outlined in (1) above.

  • An employee is entitled to long service leave under either the Long Service Leave Act 1955 (NSW) or the Building and Construction Industry Long Service Payments Act 1986 (NSW).
