Lodging a customs declaration definition

Lodging a customs declaration means the presenting of a customs declaration in the prescribed form and manner, on behalf of the declarant to the competent customs authority for the carrying out of the relevant customs procedure;

  • customs declaration means the act whereby a person indicates, in the prescribed form and manner, a wish to place goods under a given customs procedure, with an indication, where appropriate, of any specific arrangements to be applied;

  • customs territory means the territory of Namibia, including its territorial waters and its airspace;

  • customs airport means any airport declared under section 9 to be a customs- airport;

  • customs duty , subject to subsection (3), means any duty leviable under Schedule 1 (except Parts 4 and 5 thereof) or under Schedule 2 on goods imported into Namibia, and “duty” has a corresponding meaning;

  • Domestic content procurement preference ’ means all iron and steel used in the project are produced in the United States; the manufactured products used in the project are produced in the United States; or the construction materials used in the project are produced in the United States.
